The Jets Have “Minimal Interest” in Signing Adalius Thomas
When the news broke yesterday that the Patriots released veteran linebacker Adalius Thomas, many thought the perfect match would be for him to team up with his ex-defensive coordinator Rex Ryan. However, that may not be the case. The NY Post is reporting that a source close to the situation said that the Jets interest in the former 2 time Pro Bowler is “minimal”.
Manish Mehta, the Jets writer for the Newark Star Ledger, just reported on his twitter:

Now we all have to take whatever Mike Tannenbaum says with a grain of salt. Remember last off-season, Tannenbaum said he was very comfortable with the quarterback situation. This was days before he made a blockbuster trade and drafted QB Mark Sanchez.
