Jets Sign Rookie John Conner

The Jets and FB John Conner agreed to a four year, $1.99 million contract this morning. The deal includes a $199,000 signing bonus. There is an additional bonus that could escalate the contract to $2.73 million if Conner reaches certain incentives. The details of the incentives have yet to be released.
Conner, a 5th round pick out of Kentucky, will likely spend most of the season learning behind Tony Richardson before taking over as a full-time starter.
Skynet had no comment on the situation.
